Special Stammtisch  - Curling Event - Limited Availability

MCZ has booked 2 curling lanes in the curling hall next to Bossard Arena in Zug. We will receive training and instruction in English from professionals and then play a real match with teams. There is a maximum number of 16 persons. The event is free for paid up IMCZ members.

Curling is a fun port, originating in Scotland and involving sliding stones of Scottish granite across the ice. By imparting a rotation, the stones are made to curl (curving of their path) in order to achieve the desired positioning in the "house" (target area).

Attendees should dress warmly as the temperature on the ice is 6 degrees C. Wooly hats/ski gear recommended.

Participants should ensure they have their own accident insurance. IMCZ will not be liable for any  accidents or injuries sustained by its members or guests.

Assembly time is 6.45pm, when we will be kitted out with special sliding shoes and a brooms for sweeping the ice ahead of the travelling stones, if extra length is needed. Start time on the ice is 7pm.

Should members need some refreshment or food before the event, there is a restaurant in the curling hall. Meet at 5.45pm in the restaurant for food.

Don't miss out. Register now. First come, first served. Members only.
