Karl quite unexpectedly found himself working for a Telco giant in Germany in the winter of 1999, not the best of places for an Australian born and raised on a beach in the sub-tropical climes of the Aussie east coast.

Two years later Karl relocated to Switzerland for work related reasons, but primarily to take advantage of a fondue oriented lifestyle, spectacular mountain scenery, and to learn to Snowboard in lieu of a decent beach with good surf.

Karl is a Freelance Telecom Consultant, a maniac blues guitarist, and has a deep respect for a good fondue. He still hasn't been able to get his snowboard to work like a surfboard....
